Project Overview

Frameless Glass Double Doors To Form Cubicles In The New A&E Wing for Doncaster Royal Infirmary in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

An unusual location, but all for a very good reason, helping to improve NHS Hospital facilities in the region. We were contacted to create cubicle fronts in the new A&E Wing of Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

The benefits of the glass doorsets for the client were:
- Better Acoustic Privacy for Patients
- Retains Visual Monitoring for Staff
- Allows Better Communication Throughout the Area

The additional benefit, over conventional doors and frames, was a reduced build time. Glass can be installed by one trade, in one visit, reducing the amount of contractors involved. Using Glass Doorsets here avoided the need for both a Joiner, then a Decorator, to attend site when looking to complete within a short timescale.
