Project Overview

Glass partitions used to create boardrooms and meeting rooms within open-plan offices, often combined with acoustic glazing to help with sound separation and film for privacy during meetings.

Panelled Glazed Industrial-Style Glass Corner Room for Madison Brook in Royal Victoria Dock, London.

Project Summary from Michael @ Glass At Work

We've worked with Madison Brook on a few projects over the years and built up a great working relationship, John and Vickie are brilliant! Their initial brief was to give their offices a new, updated 'look' and deciding upon the on-trend warehouse style; they created an online account and were on hand personally at the site survey to meet our surveyor and finalise their requirements.

Set in a vibrant, light office with exposed brick and victorian style windows the industrial style of the partitioning looks stunning. Glazing works can sometimes be challenging but the works were completed in lightning quick fashion, taking just 5 days from the point of order to completion, simply because the apertures were fully formed and ready for our final measure - just the way we like it!

1240mm Manet Style handles give almost an ornamental feel to the doors and Madison Brook have these installed throughout all their sites for a total uniformed workspace and that 'Madison Brook' style all over their sites.

Great clients to collaborate with and we look forward to working with them again in the future

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, the drawing stage is there for you to review the layout and request adjustments before the order goes into production.

Yes. Once your layout is confirmed, a CAD drawing is produced so you can review the overall design and visualise the finished result before the glass is manufactured.

It shows the layout you've specified — room shape, door position and general configuration — so you and the team are aligned before manufacture starts. It's a design reference rather than a fully engineered manufacturing drawing.

Acoustic glass options are available and can meaningfully reduce sound transfer compared with standard glazing; for very high confidentiality requirements it's worth discussing the specific dB rating you need with the team.

Yes, manifestation film — from a simple frosted band to a full bespoke design — can be added to boardroom glazing for visual privacy.

The process is the same as elsewhere: an instant online quote or enquiry, a site survey to confirm exact measurements, then manufacture and installation by Glass at Work's install teams.

Yes, the project gallery can be filtered to show London projects specifically, including both office and residential installations.

Yes — the London project gallery includes commercial office fit-outs as well as residential glass walls and doors in homes across the city.

Projects across Greater London are covered; for a specific postcode, the team can confirm likely timescales.

Client Verdict

The GlassAtWork team have once again exceeded expectations. From the moment they received instructions, to the conclusion of the job, they were proactive, informative and diligent. The product is excellent but the turnaround and attention to detail, even more so. Congratulations for another job well done.

They do what they say when they say and sort out any problems swiftly. They are also good at giving back up technical info to assist with client relations. I will certainly be using them again.
