Project Overview

A selection of completed glass partition and glass door projects shown alongside the CAD drawing used to plan the installation. These drawings illustrate the overall layout — room shape, door positions and general configuration — so you can see how a project was planned and understand the finished result before manufacture and installation begins, whether for a single door or a multi-room office fit-out.

A great collaboration, which took time to work through the various design aspects of this install. But we took each request on and found a solution that has created a stunning install that makes an impression and achieves the practicalities the client was looking for.

Frequently Asked Questions

It shows the layout you've specified — room shape, door position and general configuration — so you and the team are aligned before manufacture starts. It's a design reference rather than a fully engineered manufacturing drawing.

Yes, the drawing stage is there for you to review the layout and request adjustments before the order goes into production.

Yes. Once your layout is confirmed, a CAD drawing is produced so you can review the overall design and visualise the finished result before the glass is manufactured.

Yes, integral blinds sit in the cavity between the two panes of a double glazed unit, so they're an option on the double glazed range rather than single glazed.

Because they're sealed within the glass unit, integral blinds aren't exposed to dust in the same way as external blinds, which keeps maintenance minimal.

The blinds hang permanently within the glass void and are tilted open and closed from that position.

They're typically operated manually via a control knob fitted to the partition; specifics can be confirmed when you configure your project.

Client Verdict

I was developing a private client office space and needed to create a room which offers privacy when needed, good soundproofing and would look good aesthetically. I changed my mind numerous times during the design process and at no point did I feel my change of heart was too much trouble. I first wanted single glazed, then decided on double glazed, due to the sun streaming in then added blinds too and then an angled door to soften the edges and improve the visuals with the "fells" film manifestation to give a 3D appearance. I would thoroughly recommend Craig and the team at Glass at Work for their expertise and professionalism, they allayed all my concerns during the whole process from start to finish.
