Project Overview

Examples of bespoke window film and manifestation applied to glass partitions, including frosted privacy bands, custom logo cut-outs and bespoke patterns. Film can be used for privacy, branding, or simply to meet building regulations requiring manifestation on large glazed areas, and can be combined with any of the single or double glazed partition ranges.

Glass Office Partitioning For a Workplace Gym - McManus Williams Ltd, Clevedon, Bristol.

We received a call from Eamon as he was browsing glassatwork.co.uk. He had derived a cost and read the further information, he needed clarification on items that weren't quite the norm. We therefore added a cost for 'notching' the glass around existing dado trunking and discussed his manifestation requirements.

Having opened up the design possibilities to him Eamon took the opportunity to create an imaginative and impressive visual that looks stunning in-situ. The additional cost was surprisingly little, but the impact is huge.

We worked from Eamon's measurements, sending him a drawing to approve and a checklist to ensure we had all the variables correct. From this we were confident that the information was correct on our first site visit, installing the track and measuring for the glass.

Despite a setback with the door we completed within the timescales set and are pleased to see another happy client and a glass wall that typifies what the website was set up to do

Frequently Asked Questions

Sandblasted glass is expensive, we use applied Opal Frost window film to produce the same effect.

A full frosted band will reduce visibility through that section while still allowing light through; a logo cut-out or dot pattern has a much smaller effect on light and visibility.

Manifestation is a visible marking applied to glass, usually required by building regulations so people don't walk into large clear glass panels. It can be as simple as standard dots or squares, or designed as a bespoke band or logo.

Yes, logo cut-outs are available as an option within the film choices, alongside solid bands and bespoke designs.

Client Verdict

I recently placed a small order for an in-line glass partition to screen off the staff gym and create a soft, light client meeting area in our practice. From start to finish I couldn't have been happier with the service I received. Dan was friendly, informative, prompt and attentive in arranging the installation and advising on the finishings available. With his support I felt able to get creative, meaning we've ended up with a wall that is not just functional, but an advert for the practice and talking point with clients. Even though there were a couple of hiccups at the factory, the friendliness and professionalism shown by all meant that scarcely mattered. Customer service at it's best and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
