Toughened Glass Door and Side Panel for a Domestic Project in Hayling Island, Hampshire.
Our project was to fit a glass door and side screen to a new opening from our hallway into a newly extended rear garden room. We wanted to get more light into the hall and to be able to see right through the house from the front but we agonised whether to have it completely glass.We have not been disappointed with the result. The discussions on the phone were always helpful and the site survey carried out quickly. The first fitting did not go well as the wrong size framing had been supplied. However this was rectified within days. We were not convinced that the opening and closing was smooth enough and a third visit proved us right and adjustments were made. The end result has achieved all we wanted. Some friends have described its provision as “brave” being in such a prominent thoroughfare, but are equally impressed by its quality and solidity.
